Workshop: Successfully Navigating LEED for Homes Projects

Friday, April 17th

This seminar is designed for participants who have a basic understanding of green building principles. The seminar will focus on the successful completion of a LEED for Homes project from partnering with a Provider, coordinating with the local Green Rater, to final document submittal for certification. Each participant will receive A LEED for Homes Manual, handouts and worksheets. Refreshments and Lunch is included.

TRAINER:


Michael F. Holcomb is a LEED for Homes Provider with the Alliance For Environmental Sustainability (AES). AES is the USGBC Area Provider for the Mid Atlantic Region. Mike served as USGBC LEED for Homes Faculty from 2006 – 2008; has worked with over 300 project teams since the LEED for Homes Pilot Program and has trained over 4,500 architects, designers, and builders throughout the Great Lakes States in green building.  Mike works with the NAHB Research Center and is a NAHB Green Field Verifier.
